A 'Big' thank you and a new program from the Norwich Public Library
Thanks for the wonderful notes that were sent to us and please check out the new Community Craft kits.
NPL says "Thank you!"

All of us at the Norwich Public Library wish to express our heartfelt
thanks and deep appreciation for the wonderful notes and cards members
of the community have sent us. Your words made us smile and in some
cases, cry (in a good way.) December was spent in a delicious haze of
sweet treats and chocolates. Just this week, two anonymous gifts
arrived, a delightful succulent and a case of oranges! Thank you!
The library is too quiet without you. We miss the sounds of toddlers singing
in story time, the happy "hellos" of friends running into each other in
the stacks, conversations over the circulation desk and yes, the energy
of kids after school. I joke that I'd do anything to be able to tell a
7th grader not to climb the library's trees again!
We know this won't last forever and we look to the future with hope, when we can throw open our doors and welcome you back inside. Until then, know that we are
here, ready and able to answer questions, make recommendations, and get the items you need.
With gratitude,
Lucinda, Lisa, Beth, Nancy, Roger and Sydney

Greetings, Norwich!
NPL is offering patrons the chance to learn a new skill and connect
with others in the community with our new community craft kits. The kits
have three different craft themes for three different age groups. The
program will take place through April. Learn more and register today:
https://www.norwichlibrary.org/craftingkits/
The teen through adult craft also has the opportunity to gather online via
zoom in the spirit of a knitting circle!
Our community craft kits have been made possible with a grant from Mascoma
Bank.
