Good afternoon Norwich,
Tradition has it that the burning of the Christmas trees symbolizes the end of the Holiday season.
This is a short story to help benefit a good cause: The event is to help raise funds for the Richmond Middle School 8th-grade trips to Montreal & NYC this year. At the end of this announcement you will be able to read the full story of a similar event that was held in January 2023. That story will show the fun that was had at that Xmas tree bonfire. Check out all the photos in the story! Here is hoping you will participate in this yearโs event.

A Christmas tree bonfire to benefit a good cause.
Friday Jan 17th, 5:00-7:00pm
Please bring your Christmas Tree to the Richmond Middle School on Friday, January 17th between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
There will be hot chocolate and a bake sale to enjoy, while watching your Christmas tree crackle on the fire, and light up the night sky!
The event is to help raise funds for the Richmond Middle School 8th-grade trips to Montreal & NYC.
$15-20 (suggested donation).
We are in need of volunteers, so please let me know if you can help.
