A History of the Norwich Lions Meadow Muffin contest and a chance to get in on the action. Check out the press release
Your donation will help the Lions club help others in our community
Good morning Norwich and beyond,
I would like to share with you a Norwich Lions club press release and a little history of the Meadow muffin contest which was started here in Norwich in the early 1990’s in an effort to help raise money for the community. Please take a moment to read the press release and check out the links below for the rest of the story. A sincere thank you to all who have donated thus far.
Here is the press release:

This is to thank those of you, who have contributed to the Norwich Lions Club efforts to raise funds on behalf of our community through participation in our Meadow Muffins contest at https://www.32auctions.com/MeadowMuffins2021, where you can buy your “meadow muffin” deed on line, via 32Auctions. (If you participated in the Women’s Club Spring Gala Auction, you are already registered on 32Auctions!)
At this writing, we are just above 50% of our $10,000 goal, which means that the current chances of winning the $1000 first prize stands at around 1 in 290. If we sell all our deeds, the odds for winning the first prize become 1 in 500. Second prize is $500 and third prize is the satisfaction that you helped our community through the Lions charitable grants process!
Tomorrow (Thursday, 23 September), at 8:30 am, Demo and I look forward to seeing you and Dan and Whit’s to offer the chance to participate.
In the meantime, you may enjoy reading about the history of meadow muffins at: https://syncstation.wall-stiles.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Norwich-Lions-Press-Release-Origins-of-the-MM-Contest-2021-09-21.pdf!
