Skating! - Yes, the rink is up and running. The school kids have been using
it for recess this past week, which is great to see.
Just like last year, if you need to borrow skates, they are in the bin on the
back porch of Tracy Hall. Please feel welcome to borrow them for a day, a
week or the entire season. Nordic skis and boots will be going into the same
box, with the same guidelines.
The annual Norwich Rec/Marion Cross PTO Skating Party will take place from
3:30-4:30pm on Friday, January 24th. As in years past, it will feature hot
cocoa from Norwich’s own Norwich Farm Creamery! Our volunteer Hosers and
Dept. of Public Works crew are working hard to get ready for this event,
hoping to have our new solar rink lights up and running so that we can extend
the party into the evening.
