About Norwich Takes a sneak peak tour of the Grange restoration project.
Phase two is happening soon and you can take a tour on March 23
Good morning Norwich and Upper Valley readers,
I recently took an informal tour of the Grange building and thought it would be nice to share the photos with you and a save the date so you can tour it also:
The tour will be on Sunday, March 23 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
Here is the information that was provided by the Norwich Community Collaborative board and to learn more about the Grange hall click on this link.

The Norwich Grange Hall is well underway to becoming a future community center.
There will be three phases of restoration work. The first phase is complete, the porch and stairs are renovated! The pageant angels were able to speak from 'high' again after several years. The next restoration phase is the main building including an energy-efficient interior with a commercial kitchen, dining hall, and upstairs meeting space with a stage along with structural repairs and restoration of historic architectural features. The final phase will be a rear addition with limited application elevator and bathrooms.
Everyone is welcome to see the beginning of the second phase of renovations. We’ve peeled back layers and we can now see the historic walls and ceiling. We will offer a tour on Sunday, March 23rd from 1:00-3:00pm and we will celebrate the Sugaring Season with fresh donuts and Norwich maple syrup for your enjoyment!
Also, mark your calendars! We will host a pancake breakfast on April 5th from 8:00-10:00 at the Norwich Congregational Church parish hall.
