Good afternoon Norwich,
There are several announcements here to keep you busy for the weekend and beyond.
Let’s all help Celebrate Norwich:
The event is on Sunday June 4, 4-7pm on the Green. It is organized by the Norwich Women's Club. It is a fundraiser to help with the scholarship funds they provide for Norwich residents and community projects. There will be games, food, and live music.

Many Norwich kids (Ella Tessone, Asher Trajman, Gideon Langhus, Jaden Stocking, Lila Bucci, Cali Smith) will be playing music at this event. We also pulled together a special Norwich parents band

11. Cantabile Concerts - "We Sing Her Song" - This Weekend!

Cantabile Women’s Chorus, under Director Kathy Sherlock-Green, will perform
its spring concert, *We Sing Her Song*, with accompanist Jeanne Chambers.
Concerts are on Saturday, June 3, at Norwich Congregational Church and on
Sunday, June 4 at Lebanon Congregational Church, both at 4pm.
*We Sing Her Song *features music based upon the lives and experiences of
women, from Suffrage Movement anthems and songs out of sacred traditions,
to the words of Sojourner Truth and explorations of womanhood and mothering.

Join us Friday at 6:00 for the kick-off of the CLIMATE SPEAKER SERIES: The Roots of Community Resilience, a summer long series at the Root Schoolhouse, with Climate Farmer Conversation.
How farmers farm and eaters eat – impacts the climate! Hear from two Norwich climate farmers, Norah Lake from Sweetland Farm and Leslie O'Hara from Hogwash Farm, how they are building food security and community resilience.
View the Climate Farmer Stories Project exhibit that highlights thirteen Upper Valley farmers, including Sweetland, that are taking direct action to address climate change.
