EAB is not for you and me but...
The treatment process might be ... A photo essay
Good afternoon Norwich and the Upper Valley
Yesterday, while making my weekly trip to the transfer station I noticed a small crowd gathered around a large ash tree in the far corner of the station. There was a class of some sort happening so I stopped by to get the gist of it. I am glad I did as this was a very informative session that was taking place. I am sharing a fact sheet or two that I picked up that has all the info one would need to better understand the subject matter.
I am also including a few photos that I took and a few that Doug Hardy was taking for the project as well. You can see that this was a focused group so the photos will show them carefully listening and watching as Pete Butler, the certified arborist from Strategic Vegetarian Management LLC treats the ash trees.
If after you view the photos and read the information provided here and you still have any questions that need answering you can click on this link:

Here are the facts and a photo or two or …
The process and story
The plant application is being done by a certified arborist from SVM LLC
Peter Butler getting ready to apply the treatment and explaining the process
Checking all around the tree and tending to problem areas
And this is what they do
And this certified arborist knows how to do it right.
This photo was sent in by Doug Hardy and shows the class following along

This photo is Courtesy of Doug Hardy - Making sure to inject all the problem areas is key
He is certainly enjoying his work and seems to have the participants interested also
Getting ready to tag the tree for tracking purposes
096 is this lucky number and the tracking and treatment will certainly help keep this tree alive for a while longer
Thanks for reading and hopefully supporting my newsletter about Norwich

So sorry I missed this. I hope he can give another demo, Demo.
