Halloween in Norwich.. A photo essay and a short video. This is Part II
There will be a Part III as there are more photos coming in also
Good Evening Norwich and Upper Valley residents,
Here is Part II of the Halloween photo essay. I still have not made it to the Fire department as that will be in Part III which is being posted as soon as I upload the rest of the photos and I am waiting for a few more that are being sent in.
I am repeating the opening statement to the first story so that you can follow along.
Norwich has always done a great job of celebrating Halloween. Main Street and the side streets in the village/downtown section of Norwich are filled with trick or treaters in full costume or ‘not’ just roaming the streets with their families, friend, and neighbors and having a great time. The festivities usually begin at the Town hall-aka the staging area. This is where they come to check and re-check their costumes and attire before the great onslaught to the streets of Norwich. This photo essay will be in two parts as there are many photos and each one is important, especially to the person or persons who took the time to make you smile or fear for your life if you will.
I will attempt to trace the route of travel but I must warn you that I do not yet have my Google GPS certification. There will be photos at each destination and maybe a short video or two or three. I assure you after you have seen both parts, you will have a better understanding of the importance of Halloween in Norwich. It just means a lot of fun for those that partake and those that just observe. Norwich does this one right!

This Dragon is guarding all the candy at this table
And it is back to the INN for a short stay
And it seems like they are not alone
As everyone has the same idea in mind.
Even the Penguin has arrived
And now we know who he really is … Better not tell Batman and Robin
I heard this little Elvis has already cut a record or two.
This family and friends are just taking it all in and having a blast.
Spider Man and a crossing guard
And they seem to be enjoying the party
Just checking in at the INN for some cookies and cider and Halloween fun
Parents just reflecting on how much joy trick or treating brings to their children
I was told that plaid is in
Stopping for a quick pose before the crowds catch up
The lolly pops must be good as you can see here
