Good evening Norwich
As I was heading into town the other day I noticed a bit of commotion in the middle of the road. There was a family or two or should I say 1 and 1/2 as the other half was taking this photo.) There were however two puppies that seemed to be getting a lot of attention.
This is their story and the puppies names are Millie and Toby.
They are Australian Labradoodles.
Editors note: One likes to whisper it seems
I asked Alice to tell me a little something about these puppies and she had this to say:
We couldn’t believe our good luck to learn from our dear , Rebekah, Craig and Ava, about such a reputable and beloved breeder, Marypat Thate, who lives just about half an hour away. They had a litter in July but kept two adorable pups who are now ready for new homes.
Last Friday we spent almost 2 hours with Marypat’s family and the dog formerly known as Mikey. But he was quite skittish almost the whole time, we were pretty sure we weren’t the right family for him. Yet in the last 15 min he came up to Nora and lay by her feet.
Our hearts melted! He is a bit shy, definitely cautious, very loyal, and incredibly sweet and smart. He came to us already crate and house trained and knows how to sit and come to you when told to. The entire litter was named after characters from The Office. After we voted down “Dunder Mifflin” as a name, haha, Nora noticed he had the same coloring, eyebrows and reserved personality as…Toby! So Toby it is.
Looks like it is time to play
How about we make a fort first?
OK! We are ready for what’s next
It looks like they are ready to stroll and get acclimated with the neighborhood.
Settling in after a full day outdoors and now we know who Toby is or maybe it’s Millie.
