Marion Cross school 3rd graders give back
Keeping the green clean
The Marion Cross school third graders wanted to give back to the community and came up with an idea to clean the perimeter around the green. Three work teams worked vigorously to get the job done. And a job well done they did! Their message to Norwich residents is to enjoy the green this summer and we will see you in September.
The 3rd grade class formed up for a group photo and then received their assignments, and split up into three chaperoned work teams to pick up the debris around the green.
The Girard Way team split up to get the job done.
A real team effort here
And all smiles at that
The Main street team untangling their way around the pole to finish their part of the project.
And now it’s almost in the bag so to speak with just a few pieces left.
And they all are having fun.
I came around to the Church street side to check on the team and found the crew was all done.
