Norwich Kids Bridge to be officially opened on Sunday June 9, 2024

Along with a potluck at Huntley Meadows

This Sunday, we will meet down under the Kearney Niles pavilion at Huntley
Meadows for our June potluck.  Judy Pond will be leading her group of
community musicians, we will provide beverages, light sides and desserts *and*
we will officially open the 'Kids' bridge!

The bridge opening should occur close to 5:00pm.  Members of the Miller family
(the builder of the original bridge) and McCabe family (stalwart champion of
the bridge replacement) will be there to cross the bridge together.

Community Potluck and 'Kids' Bridge Grand Opening - Sunday, June 9th, is
the official grand opening of the 'Kids' bridge between Huntley Meadows and
the Legion Post 8.  It also happens to be the date of our June community
potluck, so we are combining the celebrations.  We will gather at the Kearney
Niles pavilion from 4-6pm, with music from Judy Pond and her friends. The
grills will be lit, and the Rec department will provide beverages, side dishes
and dessert. We hope to see you there.
