Not your average Silver Maple

This one was targeted for removal for safety reasons

If you take a look at this photo, you will clearly see why this tree had to come down. It just wasn’t safe anymore, even though it was cabled in the past. Sometimes it is best to just throw in the towel and recycle and salvage the wood, knowing that the wood will be given to those in need this winter. The Norwich Highway department did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris. Safety was key throughout this project.

The chipper has properly been aligned to shoot the chips to the back of the truck

We are getting there after several trips to the storage spot

This cat can catch and release with no effort at all

I got them wondering just how old this tree really is but no bets will be taken as we are just not sure.

This is the view coming back towards Hazen street and Safety is key here as well. These guys do a great job always.
