Good morning Norwich and the Upper Valley,
A break from their mission to take a group photo
One cold morning, I stopped in the Norwich Inn for a cup of coffee and as I was passing through the lobby to grab a seat in the living room , I happened upon a group of ladies. They were not talking but seemed to be busy knitting away. Not wanting to bother them , I proceeded to get my coffee and the newspaper and head over to a table to chill a bit as I just finished my shift at the crosswalk.
As I was looking for a place to sit, I realized that this might make for a nice story so I figured I would get the knitty-gritty on this group. I told them I have a newsletter about Norwich and asked if I could do a short photo essay on their group. They gave me the green light and so I took a few photos which I would like to share with you.
It appears that I arrived in the knit of time as this group is one of many that come to the Inn. There is a walking group that comes to town in a van and then takes to the streets and trails in and around Norwich. Baking classes are also held at King Arthur Flour and these folks stay at the Inn. Now that I gave you a quick intro to a few groups that come to town I will get into the rest of my story with photos and my usual captions which let the photo tell the story at least from my perspective.
This side of the room is focused on the mission
But what about their competition on the other side
They seem to have come together in this photo
And here we have a group photo
