In store bookfair at the Norwich Bookstore
Good evening Norwich and Upper Valley readers,
This afternoon, while leaving the Post Office I noticed a bird flapping it’s wings and it appeared to be either waving to the passing vehicles or trying to fly away.
Not actually sure!
Of course I had to find out what all the commotion was about so I thought I would mosey on over and ask. I was introduced to blue the bird not the blue bird and told that there was an in-store book fair event going on inside the Norwich book store. Blue is the White River school’s mascot.

This week, the Norwich Bookstore is hosting an in-store book fair with The White River School. On Saturday, they hosted a kick-off event, which included a storytime featuring guest readers Christopher Ashley (the former WRS principal), Gail Haynes (the former WRS librarian), Ann Cerasoli (a current WRS kindergarten teacher), and Lori Derosier (a current WRS first grade teacher). There was also a special appearance of the school's mascot, Blue!
The in-store book fair will be running through Saturday, April 12th. So, if you missed the kick-off event, you can still shop the book fair! It's a great opportunity for our community to support one of our amazing local schools—no school-aged kids required! Just tell the bookstore you want your sale to go towards The White River School when checking out (in-store or online) and 20% of your purchase will be donated to the White River School PTA.

What can I buy?
Anything! On this page, you'll find the Red Clover and Vermont Golden Dome Award Winners, as well as new kids books we're excited about, but everything you purchase—whether it's puzzles, games, art supplies, or anything else—will benefit The White River School. Just don't forget to mention that you're shopping for the book fair in the order comments!
How long is the book fair?
The book fair starts on Saturday April 5th and goes through Saturday April 12th; a whole week to shop to your heart's content!
How and when do I get my books?
Orders can take 1-2 days to be processed. You can choose to pick your books up in-store or have them shipped to you.
Can I use a coupon code?
To maximize White River School's fundraising, coupons cannot be applied to your order.
Can I shop in the store?
Absolutely! This book fair is happening both in-store and online. If you're shopping in-store, just let us know you're shopping the book fair and 20% of your purchase will benefit The White River School!
