The Pancakes were flipping and the Maple Syrup was flowing at the Grange breakfast
And it was real maple syrup at that!
Hello Norwich and the Upper Valley,
It had been awhile since I attended a grange breakfast so I thought I would stop in, make a donation, have a bite to eat and take a few photos for this story. I managed to accomplish all of that and I must say I had a flipping fabulous time.
Rise and Shine, it’s pancake time-Batter up for a great day- as Pancakes at the grange make for a stack-tacular day. The griddle was hot. Pancakes were flipping, Eggs were scrambling, and Maple syrup was flowing on a Saturday morning calm before the storm.
Here are a few photos of the volunteers that make this happen and the many hungry participants that visited while I was there. I am sure there were a lot more before I arrived and after I left. These photos will however show what the morning was like.
Stay tuned to My Newsletter about Norwich as I will be taking a tour of the grange building soon and will be doing a photo essay on it and share some statistics with you as to how the renovation project is doing and how close they are to their goal.

“Why of course, come on in,” says the greeter
It all starts here with a greeter’s welcome
Checking in and making a donation for breakfast
The serving crew is ready to go
The kitchen crew taking a moment for a photo op
And the prep station is a busy place
The cooks are getting it done and there is order in the kitchen
Teamwork is key
And here they come!
And now it’s time to eat
And these photos will show several tables of smiling guests who seem be having a great time.
And some conversations along the way
And it is time to say goodbye until the next time.
