The second Coffee with a Cop session was held on Feb 28. Here is a brief overview and some photos.
Those in attendance had an opportunity to ask some questions in a nice positive setting.
Good afternoon Norwich,
Our new police chief , Wade Cochran recently held the second Coffee with a Cop get together at the Police and Fire Safety Facility. I stopped by and took a few photos and also reached out to Judy Powell for a brief overview of the event and here is what she sent me.
Demo,
Approximately a dozen people attended our second Coffee with a Cop on February 28. In response to last month's discussion on speed bumps, the Chief presented some research that he had done regarding effectiveness, cost, and noise. Topics discussed on February 28 included speed, stop sign violations, electronic speed signs, drug detection and trends, school safety and noise.
I think that about covers it. Our next one is scheduled for March 27 at 2:30 pm. Sgt. Rogers will be available to meet residents at that time.

The chief taking a question from a participant as others look on
And listening to a resident who just spoke about safety concerns
And taking notes for follow-up
Another question being asked from a resident
As they look and listen also
And another concern is shared with the chief and the audience
There was a lot of back and forth feedback here
Still yet another question asked
And this resident gets to share some of her concerns
