Good morning Norwich,
This is a cute little story (I think anyway), that started yesterday afternoon at the MCS crosswalk, just as the children were released from school. There were a couple of parents with a dog or two and they were just visiting and waiting for their children.
All of a sudden the bell rang and the children started crossing as they do everyday. There was a group that crossed and headed over towards the Norwich Congregational Church grassy area where some of the parents were waiting with their dogs. (cannot tell with the new snow though). After that group left, I noticed the pair of boots just left there. My first thought was someone would be back to get them so I finished my shift and called it a day.
Yes, these boots are made for walking
And this is what they should be doing, leaving tracks along the way
And this is where they were found.
This morning however, after the fresh fallen snow, I noticed they were still there so I figured it would be a good idea to turn them in to the MCS school in hopes that someone would claim them. I decided to do this story because, someone may be needing them soon and it was a nice way to advertise that they were missing to maybe help them reunite with the owner.
They were turned in to MCS teacher Rick Wilson and can be claimed at lost and found at MCS.
So if they belong to you pick them up and start walking as the new fresh snow makes it a perfect day to do just that.
