These Dragons and a whole lot of other creatures take to the streets of Norwich to celebrate Halloween. Part I-a photo essay
Part II will be posting soon
Norwich has always done a great job of celebrating Halloween. Main Street and the side streets in the village/downtown section of Norwich are filled with trick or treaters in full costume or ‘not’ just roaming the streets with their families, friend, and neighbors and having a great time. The festivities usually begin at the Town hall-aka the staging area. This is where they come to check and re-check their costumes and attire before the great onslaught to the streets of Norwich. This photo essay will be in two parts as there are many photos and each one is important, especially to the person or persons who took the time to make you smile or fear for your life if you will.
I will attempt to trace the route of travel but I must warn you that I do not yet have my Google GPS certification. There will be photos at each destination and maybe a short video or two or three. I assure you after you have seen both parts, you will have a better understanding of the importance of Halloween in Norwich. It just means a lot of fun for those that partake and those that just observe. Norwich does this one right!

So sit back and see for yourself:
Will Norwich be saved from these fierce looking dragons?
It all starts in here, in the Town hall, a nice place to prepare your attack
And suit up
Making sure to look your best before you hit the streets
Knowing that your safety in crossing the streets is key
And this could very well be the first stop!
As you head over to the Norwich Inn for some cookies and cider
I know somebody in this photo is smiling but not sure about the other one?
All smiles here though
Cool dudes!
Seems to be a good place to stock up on some goodies
A nice family and friend photo with all happy to be participating
As they all pose for the cameraman
And a quick introduction to a friend of his
These two seem to be having a great time- and they sure do like Koalas
Seems like they got what they were looking for, treats….and then some
One stop is just OK , but we need more!
And a nice place for a rendevous of two or in this case more!
