Why did these 50 + turkeys cross the road?

Yesterday, as we headed back to town, these 50 or so turkeys were crossing the road just before we got to willing Hands.  It looks like the orange cone was put up so they would know where to cross!!  They all crossed there and not one got out of line!!

Come on you turkeys, we can make it cause someone put a cone on the road to increase visibility. I wonder if these turkeys obeyed the 25 mile per turkey speed limit.
