A little American Legion post that does a lot for its members and the community
Good afternoon Norwich and the Upper Valley,
There was lot’s of excitement at the American Legion Hall recently as the annual toast to the services event got underway. The toast of the services celebration is a toast to all the military members and their branch of service and wishes for a healthy and happy new year. In this story you will also see some photos of recent awards and quilts that were given out within the last few months.
In the military way of life, there is always another mission that needs to be done in order to meet the unit’s goals. Everyone knows what is expected and works together as a team and the job gets done.
Here is a story on the quilts that was recently done that explains the concept of these awarded quilts and shows one of the persons responsible for making them.

Dot Plume and Donna Stearns secret mission of late has been to make Quilts for Combat veterans. They too work well as a team and as you can see from these photos their mission is complete. They have just just completed quilt number 100. Here are a couple more that were recently presented.
