Good afternoon,
Norwich and Upper Valley residents and hopefully readers,
This story is about quilts made for veterans to thank them for their military service
This story is about a team of two individuals that enjoy making quilts for veterans. The below story is one that was done on March 30, 2022 when the first quilt was presented to George Fraser outside at the parking lot of Dan and Whit’s. Since then this team has been busy making several quilts and the below photos will show them as they were presented to the veterans at the American Legion hall over the past few months. I held off on writing about these as I was tipped off that there would be several and wanted to wait and do one story on all the quilts.
Read the first story to see for yourself and then follow along the other photos to see the honored veterans receiving their quilts. Photos for this story were taken by me and Gary Degasta.
Each of the below photos will show a veteran receiving their quilt and there are a couple of photos of veteran presentations to our members. There will be a separate story on veterans with presentations and awards coming soon so stay tuned if you wish.

Thanks, Demo, for sharing the great photos and story. Great veterans and fine people as well. Honored to know pretty much all of them.
