Hiking the Appalachian trail is wild and woodsy!
Here are S'more stories for you to read
Good afternoon Norwich and Upper Valley residents,
Cover photo is from the end of the journey and was sent to me by Gigi and Gutcheck.
I spoke yesterday and today with some Appalachian Trail thru hikers who allowed me to take a group photo of them as they were taking a break at Dan and Whit’s. I mentioned that I had done several AT stories in the past and they were well received by the Norwich community. I am including all three stories for you to read in case you may have missed them. I also asked them if they were interested in sharing their stories, and they agreed to do so. As I was showing the second group the photo of the two hikers that I met yesterday, they immediately recognized them. It must be a small world out there in AT land. The plan going forward is for the two groups of hikers to send me their stories and some additional photos which in turn I will share with my readers.
Here are the photos that were taken yesterday and today:
This photo was taken yesterday and I am awaiting story details and more photos
And this was taken this afternoon and they are equally interested in sharing their stories with me and the community.
And Here are the original stories:
Take a few moments if you wish to read all three stories that were done in 2019 and let’s see what the future will bring for the hikers in the two photos above.

And the saga heads east
The Tale of the two "Gs" continues I have decided to do this as a separate story so as not to confuse the two stories with the two "Gs". Please take a moment to read the original story titled The tale of the two G’s and then you will know the rest of the story sort of speak.
The AT Journey is now complete
Gigi and Gutcheck have made it to Maine This is the final phase of a story that was in 3 parts. The first was the “ Tale of two G’s” a trip from the state of Georgia to Norwich, where I met up with them at the Blue Sparrow restaurant. The second story begins when they leave Norwich and head east toward Maine. The title is :
